A night with Woo Woo!

You can call it fruit-flavored vodka; it has a sweet-sour fruity flavors of peach and cranberry on a base of clear vodka poured or served on a highball or tall glass and optionally garnished with slice of lemon or lime.

With its sour-crisp cranberry and sweet peach flavor plus the cool-clean vodka, this cocktail delivers a refreshing summer taste to the mouth which makes this beverage perfect for cookouts, house parties and other get-together parties with friends.

In my further diggings, I found out that this cocktail mix was first created in 1988 in Leyzin, Switzerland in a bar called Whispers. Accordingly, the name came from the song Sympathy for the Devil and was dedicated to the Rolling Stones.

This beverage is also simple to make, no shaking or straining required just maybe a little stirring and that could be optional too especially when served in a bar.

Even the portioning is optional just pour it however way you or your bartender wants it. Just like what our bartender Carmen at The Breakroom (Fond du Lac, WI) did last night. She filled my glass with ice, poured vodka halfway then poured peach schnapps and finish it with cranberry juice. Everybody loves Carmen, not just because she’s a sweet short and petite (maybe) 50-ish year old bartender but also because her drinks get stronger as the night gets deeper 😉 way to go Carmen!
